Aims and Scope

The Afghanistan Journal of Basic Medical Sciences (IJBMS) is dedicated to advancing the expertise of medical researchers and fostering constructive dialogue among medical researchers. AJBMS welcomes original articles, short communications, letters to the editor, case reports, and review articles (systematic review and meta-analysis) in the fields of anatomical sciences, biology, biochemistry, genetics (population genetics, genomics, proteomics), immunology, hematology and blood bank, microbiology, pathology, pharmacology, physiology, biotechnology, bioinformatics, epidemiology and public health, obstetrics and gynecology, multidisciplinary research, biomaterials, new and emerging methods, and emerging medical entities.
